The 2024 Yea Wetlands Discovery Centre Inc Annual General Meeting was held on Friday 22 November. Committee members, volunteers and supporters celebrated another successful year of achievements.
A number of major elements within the Yea Wetlands Discover Experience project, funded by the Victorian State Government, have been completed or significantly progressed. These have included the Daabani Biik Butganani Yanath Sculpture Trail in the Yea Wetlands and a substantial refurbishment of interpretive exhibits in the Yea Wetlands Discovery Centre highlighting the story of Yea, the Yea Wetlands and its flora and fauna and the ecological significance of the Goulburn and Broken Rivers systems.
Chairperson Don Knight acknowledged and thanked the committee members, volunteers, staff and key partners for another successful and productive year.
